1. Having a strong belief in beliefs attitudes 

-. This means  that most people  make decisions based on  their belief  in what they say or do.   That is, before doing something, think in a negative attitude and do not know that it cannot be done.

Eg:- Leaders believe that women cannot do jobs like flying 

2. Believing that there is only one solution to  a  problem

✓ When a problem arises or is identified, they are accustomed to believe that there is only one solution to the problem. But the problem with only one solution cannot really be identified

Eg:- Believing  that only by laying a mosquito net can one escape from the mosquito shop.

✓Some people expect immediate accountability for what they say and do, but it may take some time to get positive results

Athletes refurbish discarded shoes and donate them to the poor!

Two sportspersons have been praised for their efforts to redesign discarded slippers and shoes for underprivileged children.

Shriyans Bhandari (21) and Ramesh Dhami (23) are from Delhi. Both professional athletes have used several pairs of shoes every year.

So, both of them, who are well versed in shoes, think about what can be done with discarded shoes, refurbish them and turn them into colourful slippers and donate them to poor children in the country.


Greensol was founded in 2013 by Shriyans Bhandari and Ramesh Dhami. Their idea has grown into a social business venture and continues to provide refurbished shoes to underprivileged children.

Discarded shoes are washed and cleaned, soles and tops are removed, cut and redesigned to the required size. Instead of melting shoes like other shoe manufacturers do, they refurbish them. So far, 25,000 pairs of refurbished shoes have been distributed to the poor in Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Every month, they collect around 1,000 to 1,200 pairs of old shoes from different parts of the country. It is recycled and donated to children in various villages. They also conduct awareness campaigns on the benefits of wearing footwear at the places where they go to donate footwear.

Till date, they have improved and donated 5,80,000 old shoes to the poor.
