"4G"
Its speed is very high.
It requires a 3G operating system mobile (SmartPhone) to operate.
With this, we can download 1GB of data in 3 minutes.
It only takes 5 minutes to send the same 1GB of data.
4G service was developed with higher internet speed than 3G service. It was first introduced in South Korea in 2009.
4G service changed the world of telecommunications with high-speed internet facility, accurate video calls, and sending emails in seconds. 4G services are operating today with speeds of up to 100 megabytes per second. 4G service provided services that can be imagined through the internet such as live streaming and mobile TV.
Advantages of 4G Network
1. High Speed:
Provides higher internet speeds than 3G. Video streaming, high-speed downloads, HD calls, etc. work smoothly.
2. Quality Video/Voice Calls:
Clear video and audio calls are possible with VoLTE (Voice over LTE).
3. Improved Internet Experience:
Users get a better experience as web pages load faster.
4. Connectivity with various devices:
Can be easily used on devices like smartphones, tablets, laptops.
5. Mobile Hotspot:
4G connection can be shared with other devices.
Disadvantages of 4G Network:
1. Service Coverage Issues:
4G coverage may be limited, especially in rural areas.
2. Speed Variation:
Speed may vary based on the number of users and location.
3. Battery drain:
4G usage drains the battery of devices faster.
4. Price hike:
4G devices and data plans can sometimes be expensive.
5. Security issues:
The higher the internet speed, the higher the risk of hacking, malware attacks, etc.
> "5G"
This service will run many times faster than the 4G network internet service.
1GB of data can be downloaded in 3 minutes (i.e. 180 seconds) on 4G. So, 20GB of data can be downloaded in 1 minute on 5G.
4G service has just arrived, what is there to achieve in the world of internet now?
5G service is coming with many surprises for those who think. After the introduction of this service, more than seventy percent of the information exchange through the internet will be done through video. Moreover, all the information will be stored in the cloud facility. Therefore, devices like memory cards, pen drives will become unnecessary. Moreover, surveillance through CCTV cameras can be done in a few seconds. 5G service has been introduced at the recently concluded Mobile World Congress conference. Through this, we can expect a new achievement in information and telecommunications.
Benefits of 5G
1. A large amount of information can be downloaded / uploaded in a short time
The same is true of the information highway. The users of 3G and 4G have also increased to improve their facilities. From the governments that own the information highways to the owners of the trucks that carry the goods on them (telecom companies), everyone benefits. It makes the goods available to consumers quickly, in large quantities, and when needed.
5G has a wider bandwidth than the existing 3G and 4G information highways. Thus, the expectation is that the data transfer will be large and fast on the Internet highway (super highway).
The quality of the 4G broadband communication currently in use is 10 times faster than the 3G that preceded it. The current speed of 4G is 100 Mbps. 5G is 20 times faster (20GBps). With this increase in speed and capacity, many companies will be able to send data directly to your home over the air, without
relying on cable or / fiber optic systems. You will also get more channels. Commercial competition will also make prices cheaper.
2. Rural people in developing countries can benefit
People living in villages have benefited the most from wireless information technology. In countries with large populations like India, China, and Indonesia, information technology has made a huge revolution in the knowledge and economic sectors. In general, this technology opens up the world before them. Foreign jobs have come to the homes of millions of people with limited resources. Technology has brought equality that communism and socialism could not bring.
After bringing computers to the hands, information technology has also started to follow humans. A report says that by 2020, there will be 4.68 billion mobile phones in use in the world. The people who will benefit from this are the people in developing countries.
Productivity can be increased in developed countries.
Through the application of artificial intelligence, unmanned vehicles, unmanned aircraft, and robots called 'robots' can be used to replace workers in factories, increasing productivity and quality of goods. Now, information that comes to the user through cables and optical fibers (optical fiber) can also come wirelessly, in the form of radio waves in the air. More businesses will also join the network with more users. Therefore, the country's economy can increase due to this.
4. Income for landowners
A key feature of 5b radio waves is that they cannot travel 4 of 15 miles. Therefore, short distances will have to be established. This allows owners of homes and cell towers to earn money by leasing a piece of their land to telecommunications companies.
5. Medical Use
Anyway, once it comes to our own bodies, we should forget all the evils and welcome this 5G.
When it comes to accuracy, it is in medicine that we can see its full benefits. Nowadays, once an X-ray is taken, the computer in it sends the X-ray image of the patient as a picture to the consulting radiologist who is at home many kilometers away. He analyzes it and sends the patient's "physical condition" to his family doctor.
Two aspects of the technology used in this are (at least) worthy of praise. One is the accuracy of the image, and the other is the speed with which it is sent over long distances (some hospitals even have specialists working in the office) and the report arrives at the right place in a matter of minutes.
From now on, without the need for doctors, artificial intelligence will diagnose the disease based on your symptoms, and the pharmacy will send medicine to your home in the next minute through 'drones'. Advanced 'smart / phones' will pave the way for all this. 5G will make it possible.
6. Everything in one place
Many people will run on the highway opened up by 5G. Most of the information currently comes in the form of video. It will increase in speed to the point that you can talk to someone in bass rhyme while it is running smoothly on your 4K smartphone screen. You can stream and watch movies at home on a 4K mega screen with great accuracy, just like watching in theaters.
Disadvantages of 5G
1. Don't live in a city without towers
As mentioned above, more cell towers will be needed to operate efficiently in 5G networks. In the future, cell towers will be taller and shinier than the now shining temple towers in our country. We cannot expect activists who are raising the flag for the arrival of electric wind turbines to fall down and bow down at the sight of cell towers.
2. Avoiding the old and buying the new
5G Networks can benefit the loT, autonomous vehicle and mobile communications industry.
Currently, many electronics stores are introducing new 'ultra-fast' products. They sell computer monitors and cameras with 4M accuracy. If all these are to work as they say, the computers connected to them and their hardware are essential. All the devices that carry the signals must be ready to accept the new arrivals. Some will sell them as 5G Ready, 4K Ready. In short, most of the devices you have at home will become useless once 5G is deployed.
3. Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a beautiful word that is now widely used. It is a mechanism that can take a lot of data. It is a mechanism that can handle logical and scientific approaches that are equivalent to (or superior to) humans and give you a decision in an instant.
This mechanism is already in use. After you search for information about an object on the computer, you will have observed that all the advertisements that appear on that computer are about that object. This modern 'canon' can secretly record your activities and tell you everything about your character. (Like reading a palm leaf).
Simplified view of the 5G Network Architecture.
To collect millions of data like this and to draw 'knots' between them in an instant and come to a decision, a computer that works very fast and data that arrives very fast are necessary. The 'Great Myth' of 'Google' has been made into a legend with such data. As the poet says in the legend, it was the information highways like 3G and 4G that paved the way for Google, which can tell you your family history just by giving a quarter of your name. This 5G will help increase the extent and speed with which spies like Google can spy on you.
4. Harm to health
Activists, researchers, and health workers warn that the high-frequency waves used by 5G are harmful to the body. They believe that since many small towers will be installed very close to people's homes, the impact of these waves will be negligible on humans and animals. No long-term studies have been done to prove that this is not the case. Doctors warn that the radiation caused by 5G waves used daily will have irreversible effects on living beings.
Next to the microwave in the wave form we saw earlier are 'gamma' and 'x-ray' rays. It has been proven that these are harmful to the body in long-term use. Therefore, there is no doubt that 5V waves can also be harmful in long-term use. We use these same microwaves to heat food. But strong protection has been put in place to prevent the waves from escaping from the microwaves in homes.
The other side argues that the rays from sunlight contain more microwaves than those from 5G and that there is no danger to those who have been sunbathing for a long time. Unlike X-rays, microwaves cannot penetrate human skin or bone. Therefore, they say, there is no danger.
But the important difference between sunlight and 5G is that sunlight hits the body widely. On the other hand, 5G rays hit our body in a concentrated (beamforming) state, so there has not been a large-scale study on the effects. There is not yet enough data to determine the standards of the world's countries.
The World Health Organization's report states:
"Despite extensive studies, it has not yet been proven that low-level electromagnetic waves cause harm to human health."
In another of its reports, it said, "We need to move slowly, conducting extensive studies on the effects of radio waves."
5. Privacy
Currently, our personal health, financial information, and insurance information are stored and protected somewhere on a computer (server). (Except when using a Wi-Fi card, it is very difficult to steal them because the information travels over wires.
In 5G, the information is floating in the air, so it is easy to steal it. There is no guarantee of its security.
6. Computer Virus
The faster information is transferred through the 5G network, the faster viruses can spread.
